Adult Children on Your Membership

Introduction

A membership in REDEEM® HealthShare Ministry limits membership to members of the same nuclear family which includes husband, wife, and children. For further information specific to adult children on a family membership, see Guidelines – IV.A. Family Members Defined.

Information

For your adult children (including those you adopted) to remain on your membership, they must be:

  • Single and under the age of 25 and meet the requirements specified in the Sharing Guidelines.
  • A child with a disability who after turning 26 meets these conditions:
    • Receive more than 50% financial support from you.
    • Qualifies as dependent on your federal tax return.
      Note: If you want to apply for this status, you must contact Member Services before your child turns 26.
