Inactivating memberships

Here are the scenarios where your membership might be canceled:

1. Voluntary Inactivation: You can voluntarily inactivate your membership at the end of any month if you choose to leave the program. This means you can choose to stop your membership at your discretion.

2. Involuntary Inactivation:
  • Non-Payment: If you fail to fund your share wallet for 60 days, your membership will be inactivated. Please remember that the Annual Unshared Amount (AUA), Provider Fees, and co-share amounts are paid directly to the healthcare provider, not to REDEEM HealthShare Ministry. REDEEM HealthShare does not have direct visibility into whether the AUA has been paid. Healthcare providers may have their own policies regarding financial standing and may hesitate to provide further services if a patient is not in good financial standing with their practice.

To avoid any issues, promptly pay your Monthly Share and communicate with your healthcare provider about any outstanding balances. This will help maintain a positive financial relationship with your provider and ensure that you receive the necessary care.
  • Non-Compliance: If you fail to complete the click-to-share requirement for 60 days, your membership will be inactivated.
  • Know Your Customer (KYC) Issues: If you do not resolve KYC issues within 60 days, your membership will be inactivated.

3. Notice Periods:
  • 30 Days Notice: After 30 days of non-compliance, you will receive a notice informing you of your ineligibility for sharing until the issue is resolved.
  • 45 Days Notice: After 45 days of non-compliance, you will receive a second notice.
  • 60 Days Notice: After 60 days of non-compliance, your membership will be inactivated, effective from the date the member should have funded the share wallet or completed the click-to-share requirement.

Only eligible medical bills incurred on or before the Inactivation Date will be considered for sharing.

These guidelines ensure that members remain compliant with the program requirements and maintain active participation in the sharing community.
