Guidelines - IV.B Inactivation of Membership

1. Voluntary Inactivation

Members can voluntarily inactivate their membership at any time, which shall take effect at the end of any month.

2. Involuntary Inactivation

REDEEM HealthShare will inactivate a membership if:

  • The member fails to fully fund their Share Account for 60 days.
  • The member fails to resolve Know Your Customer (KYC) issues within 60 days of Notice of Failure.

Notice Periods

  • 30 Days' Notice: After 30 days of non-compliance, a member will receive a notice of their ineligibility for sharing until the member resolves the issue. REDEM HealthShare will suspend a membership, which means that members are not eligible to have new bills shared or to participate in membership voting.
  • 60 Days' Notice: After 60 days of non-compliance, REDEEM HealthShare will inactivate the membership, effective from the date the member should have funded their Share Account.
