Manage Tokens in the Sponsor Center
Introduction
As the Group Administrator or Authorized Representative, you will manage the payment tokens in your sponsorship. This article provides instructions you need to resend and expire tokens as well as basic token information.
Procedure
To resend or to expire a token, follow these steps:
- In the Sponsor Center navigation menu, click Home to view the Sponsored Group(s) card.
- In the Sponsored Group(s) card, click the dropdown arrow.
- From the options, select the appropriate Sponsored Group name.
- In the Group Members section, type the member’s name in the First Name and Last Name fields. Matching results will appear.
- In the Actions column, click the three ellipses and based on the requested action, either:
- Select Resend Token if you need to generate a new email (member cannot locate the original email).
- Select Expire Immediately if a member is no longer under your sponsorship. When you complete this action, billing stops after the expiration date (which is the end of the current billing cycle). Tokens remain valid until you expire them.
Important: If the billing token has already been used for a membership payment, you will receive an error message, The Payment Token has been used in payments. If you receive this message, you must roll off the member. See, Remove of Roll-Off Members in Your Group Sponsorship for instructions.
Tips
- The Expire Immediately option is available only when the billing token is in one of the following statuses: Invited, Active, or Created.
- The Start Date listed is the date the Token was issued. It is not the membership start date.
- The End Date listed is the date that the Sponsor will stop paying for an individual or household membership. It represents the membership expiration date.
