Managing Your Manually Funded Share Wallet

Introduction

This article explains when you receive notice to fund your share wallet, when to fund your share wallet, and the importance of keeping your membership active when you choose to manage your share wallet funding manually.

Information

The sections below explain each step of the process and what to expect as a REDEEM® HealthShare member who chooses to fund your share wallet manually.

Receiving the Funding Notice

You will receive a funding notification three weeks before the due date through Share Stream. You must fund your share wallet upon receiving the notification. Funding your share wallet before the due date ensures the sharing community can support each other and keeps your membership current so that your own bills remain eligible for sharing.

Funding Your Share Wallet

Funding your share wallet means you deposit money into your share wallet, see Guidelines – 8. Glossary of Terms. The amount of the funding notice is due before the first day of each month and considered late if not posted by then. For step-by-step instructions, see Manually Fund Your Share Wallet.

If you want to opt in to fund your share wallet automatically, see Enable Auto Funding. Your monthly share deposit amount will be automatically drafted on the recurring date that you select. By opting into automatic funding, you ensure that you have fund your share wallet on time each month.

Failing to Fund Your Share Wallet

If you fail to fund your Share Wallet, you will receive past due reminders by email and in your Share Stream until you have fulfilled payment. If you fail to fund your Share Wallet for 60 days, then REDEEM HealthShare will proceed with Inactivating Your Membership
