Remove or Roll-Off Members in Your Group Sponsorship

Introduction

A member might choose to leave the ministry, or the person might choose to remain with the ministry but not under your Sponsorship Group. As either the Group Administrator or the Authorized Representative, this article provides the instructions you need to remove or roll off a member from your sponsorship.

Procedure

To remove or roll off a member from your Group Sponsorship, follow these steps: 

  1. In the Sponsor Center navigation menu, click Home to view the Sponsorship Group(s) card. 
  2. In the Sponsored Group(s) card, click the dropdown arrow.
  3. From the options, select the appropriate Sponsored Group name. 
  4. In the Group Members section, type the member’s name in the First Name and Last Name Matching results will appear. 
  5. In the Actions column, click the three ellipses that correspond to the appropriate member’s name and choose the requested action:
    1. When you no longer sponsor a member, but he or she wants to remain with REDEEM® HealthShare and pay his or her own monthly shares, select Roll-Off from the dropdown menu to remove the member you are no longer sponsoring.  
      1. In the Sponsorship End Date field, select the requested date of roll off.
        Note: Select a date prior to the period from which you would like to stop sponsoring this membership. REDEEM HealthShare initiates your wallet funding the month before its intended use. Members have the option to continue a membership by updating his or her mode of Payment within the next 30 days.
      2. Click Save. A notice, This membership has been rolled off will appear.
    2. When a member chooses to deactivate with REDEEM HealthShare, select Expire Immediately from the dropdown menu to remove a member you will no longer sponsor. 
      Important: Removal from a group does not deactivate membership. The Group Administrator or Authorized Representative must direct the member to contact Member Care regarding his or her deactivation.
