Sharing Eligibility for Preventative Screenings
Introduction
Certain preventative screenings are eligible for sharing when you participate in the REDEEM® Enhanced program and you have met a six-month membership waiting period. In addition, the Annual Unshareable Amount (AUA) is exempt for these screenings.
Information
Mammograms or prostate-specific antigen tests (PSA) are eligible for sharing once per year when you turn 45. A routine colonoscopy screening is eligible for sharing at age 45, every five years. If your physician determines that you are a high-risk patient, then you can have a colonoscopy every two years.
