Sharing Eligibility for Wellness Visits

Introduction 

This article provides information about wellness visits (annual physical, routine). 

Information 

If your household Membership is in the REDEEM® Enhanced program, wellness visits are eligible for sharing only after the first 90 days of membership.

After the 90-day waiting period, each member of the household is eligible for one routine or wellness visit per year, including associated labs. Note: You can substitute a school physical instead of a traditional wellness visit.

Wellness visits have an annual sharing limit. Routine visit costs are not subject to the Annual Unshareable Amount (AUA). For guideline information specific to limited sharing of wellness visits (annual physical, routine), see Guidelines – III.F Limited Sharing
