Sharing Limits for New Members

The Ministry encourages you to read the Sharing Guidelines for complete information since there are sharing limits within your new membership that are important to note.

Information

Eligibility for sharing expenses depends on your time as a member and your Annual Unshareable Amount The following limits are:

• For the first 90 days of your membership, only bills resulting from injury, acute illness, or accident are eligible for sharing up to  the maximum amount. This limit applies to all programs.

• Specific conditions and specific treatments might not be shareable in the first 12 months of membership.
• You must meet your Annual Unshareable Amount (AUA) before the Ministry can share eligible medical bills.
