Understanding Bill Stages and Statuses

Introduction

From the Member Center, use this article to understand the stages and statuses of a bill.

Information

The table below groups bill statuses by stage so you can quickly identify where a bill is in the process and what the status indicates.

Stage Status Status Description
Submitted Submitted You have uploaded your bill, and it awaits the next stage. 
Submitted Missing Information REDEEM® HealthShare requires additional information to continue processing this bill. For more information, see Navigating the Member Center to Monitor Your Bills.
Submitted Rejected  REDEEM HealthShare has rejected a bill. For more information, see Navigating the Member Center to Monitor Your Bills.
Processing  Eligible The bill is eligible for sharing and will typically have funds assigned within 14 days.
Completed  Ineligible According to REDEEM HealthShare Guidelines, the bill is not eligible for sharing. For more information, see Navigating the Member Center to Monitor Your Bills.
Completed   Shared REDEEM HealthShare is reviewing your bill for eligibility and sharing.
Completed  Check Issued REDEEM HealthShare has issued a check for the shared bill.
Completed Payment Cleared The bank has cleared and cashed the check issued for the shared bill.
Completed  Prepaid REDEEM HealthShare prepaid your bill and accepted shared funds in connection with that account.
