Understanding Your Share Wallet

Introduction

Each household receives a notification through the Share Stream for the current month’s Share Amount to fund your Share Wallet. Funding your Share Wallet before the due date ensures the sharing community can support each other and keeps your membership current so that your own bills remain eligible for sharing.

This article provides information about:

  • Funding your Share Wallet.
  • Receiving the Funding Notice.
  • Failing to fund your Share Wallet.

You’ll receive your Funding Notice three weeks before the due date. The amount of the Funding Notice is due before the first day of each month and considered late if not posted by then. See information below about funding options.

You have can fund your Share Wallet using one of these two options:

  • Automatic funding (recommended): Your Monthly Share Deposit Amount is automatically drafted on the recurring date that you select.
Note: By opting into automatic funding, you ensure that your Share Wallet is funded on time each month. If you haven’t already opted into auto funding, see Enable or Change Your Auto Funding Date for instructions.
  • Manual funding: You must sign in to the Member Center and Manually Fund Your Share Wallet
