Sharing limits for new members

• Effective Date: Sharing begins after your membership is active. The effective date is typically the first day of the month following your application approval and payment of the initial share amount.
• Initial Waiting Period: For the first 90 days, only bills resulting from injury, acute illness, or accident are eligible for sharing, with a cap of $50,000.
• Pre-Existing Conditions:  Some pre-existing conditions have a waiting period before they are eligible for sharing. Specific conditions and treatments might not be sharable in the first 12 months of membership.
• Annual Unshared Amount (AUA): You must meet your AUA before any eligible medical bills can be shared.
