This article provides an overview of your Share Notice and your Share Account.
The Member Center is the central place to see your account information, your sharing details, and to manage your membership. Understanding your account balances is important as you plan your family’s budget.
Understanding your Share Notice
You may have a Previous Balance, which is the sum of any past due, unpaid amount published in the Share Notice.
To see if you have a Previous Balance, follow these steps:
- Sign into REDEEM™ HealthShare, the Member Center automatically displays.
- From the menu, click My Sharing, a side panel automatically displays.
- In the Current Share Notices section, click the right facing arrow, and then the Share Notice for your household displays in the Share Summary
- If you see a dollar amount in the Previous Balance, click the drop-down arrow and the specific month displays. Again, the previous balance is the sum of any past due, unpaid amount published in the Share Notice.
Understanding your Share Account
To locate your other account balances, follow these steps:
- From the menu, click My Sharing.
- Click Account, the Share Account for your household displays each balance type:

Definition |
Total Balance |
The sum of the pending, restricted, and available balances in your Share account. |
Pending |
The sum of electronic funds transfers (EFTs) initiated but not yet posted to your Share Account. |
Restricted |
The sum of funds credited to your Share Account for the purpose of paying an eligible medical bill. |
Available Balance |
The total sum available for sharing a new eligible medical bill. It is the Total Balance, minus the Pending Balance, minus the Restricted Balance. |
