As believers of the triune God of the Bible, members of REDEEM™ HealthShare Ministry live and state their faith publicly by agreeing to the membership requirements.
While your health status has no effect of your eligibility for membership, there are exceptions to sharing of needs for conditions arising from illegal and dangerous activity. REDEEM has outlined these activities in the Guidelines – I.A. Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Requirements.
Any medical expenses arising from the following activities do not meet sharing eligibility:
- Using controlled substance or dangerous drugs not legally prescribed and dispensed.
- Abusing alcohol.
- Injury or illness arising from illegal activity, regardless of an arrest, charges filed, or resulting conviction.
- Injury or illness resulting from grossly negligent acts.
As a member of REDEEM, reading and understanding the Sharing Guidelines is important.
