Send Your Share
Introduction
Although the REDEEM® system is set to automatically fund your Share Wallet, you must take the manual action to send your Share to another member.
This manual action is intentional because it creates an opportunity for connection with the REDEEM community by prompting you to pray for and write a note of encouragement to the receiving member.
You will receive a Share Notice by email and through text messaging when it is time to send your Share.
This article provides step by step instruction to send your Share through the Member Center.
Procedure
- Sign in to the Member Center.
- In the Member Center navigation menu, select Sharing.
- From the options, select My Sharing. The current month’s Share will display.
- Select Ready to Send. The current month's Share Summary will display.
- (optional) In the Share Amount field, select the drop-down arrow to display all recipients and amounts each will receive.
Note: The member-to-member portion that you send from your Share Wallet will vary because member needs differ in cost and because the ministry intentionally creates opportunities for all households to participate regularly in sharing one another’s burdens. - Select Send Share.
- (optional) In the Note of encouragement field, type an encouraging note to the primary recipient.
- Select Send. A confirmation note will appear in the upper right.
