A situation may occur where REDEEM™ HealthShare Ministry has already processed your bill using referenced-based pricing. On occasion, a provider may send you a bill requesting additional payment—over the amount listed on your Explanation of Sharing (EOS), which is known as a balance bill. As a member of REEDEM™ Essential, you must pay the co-share portion of your bill before submitting a balance bill.
To submit the balance bill, follow these steps:
- Sign into REDEEM™ HealthShare. The Member Center automatically opens.
- From the menu, select My Medical Bills.
- Select Submit Bills.
- Select Balance Bill.
- Complete the additional required questions.
- 2. Member that Incurred Expenses
- 3. Has the bill been paid in full or partially paid?
- 4. For your reference, give this bill a nick name.
- Select Next. The Submit a Balance Bill screen displays.
- Type your Additional Information into the required fields.
- Upload the balance bill statement and these additional supporting documents, if available:
- Balance Bill Statement
- EOS, if available
- Proof of Payment Receipt, if available
- Consent for us to reach out to your Provider on your behalf
- Select I agree to the Consent terms.
- Click Submit. A pop-up note Need is submitted successfully displays.
