Sharing Process Overview

How REDEEM® HealthShare Works

At REDEEM HealthShare, members come together in Christian community to help meet one another’s eligible medical expenses through prayer, encouragement, and financial support. It’s a practical way to live out your faith while supporting fellow believers through life’s medical needs.

  1. Going to the Doctor

REDEEM HealthShare gives you the freedom to choose the doctors, specialists, and treatments that align with your values and health care needs.

As a REDEEM member, you can:

    • Visit the providers of your choice.

    • Enjoy freedom from provider networks.

    • Present your REDEEM Member Card at your appointment.

    • Have your provider submit bills directly to REDEEM HealthShare for processing.

Sharing is subject to the REDEEM® Sharing Guidelines, including program-specific requirements. Once a medical expense is determined eligible for sharing under the Guidelines, funds voluntarily contributed by the REDEEM member community help meet those medical costs.

  2. Receiving Shares

When you have an eligible medical expense:

    1. Once an Annual Unshareable Amount is met, eligible medical expenses become available for sharing.

    2. The REDEEM community shares those expenses through member contributions.

    3. Funds contributed by fellow members help pay your eligible medical expenses.
